One of the defining features of the Anglican tradition is its liturgy and music. The singing congregation is supported by the choir in the Sunday service and therefore plays an integral part. Apart from the hymns and the psalm the choir also renders an anthem during communion.

On Sundays the choir gathers at 9:30 am to rehearse for the Sunday service at 10:30 am. If you’re coming regularly to worship at St Thomas Becket and love to sing you might consider joining the choir.

Yotin Tiewtrakul is the Music Director and, together with Jochim Trede, STB’s longstanding Organist, leads the contribution of music to the life of the church. He has composed one of the musical settings we use for our Sunday liturgy.

Aside from the Sundays there are special occasions for the choir to prepare for: a concert in Passiontide, Nacht der Kirchen and the Christmas Carol Service amongst other things.
