We can’t seem to attract men to smaller working groups, with the exception of Young Adults.
But we have two live women’s groups – the Mothers’ Union and the Ladies Christian Fellowship.
The Mothers’ Union
Despite the name, the Mothers’ Union (MU) is a radical outlook organisation world-wide, and campaigns for women’s rights in countries where they are definitely second class citizens. The main aim of the MU is supporting family life. The name unfortunately puts some people off, but attempts to change it failed – members objected!
To convince you this is a worthwhile organisation to be part of see The Mothers’ Union website
Future projects will include crocheting/knitting clothes for premature babies to give away as donations. Any donations of yarn are especially welcome.

Ladies Christian Fellowship
The Ladies‘ Christian Fellowship (LCF) isn’t half as stuffy as it sounds. Another example of titles from the past. The group meets about once a month in different places in Hamburg (mostly at the homes of members), usually at 14.30 for coffee and snacks or sometimes at 12.30 for lunch. We then have the chance to discuss current issues or listen to a guest who talks about her – or his! – Christian life and work.
