'Extraordinary' walk in the footsteps of the Merchant Advneturers
As the Treasurer has billed it – this extraordinary, i.e. inaugral walk 'In the footsteps of the Merchant Adventurers' will take place this Saturday 5 May 15:00-17:00.
We trace on foot a number British people who have left their mark in the development of Hamburg, from the foundation of the English Church in 1612, through architecture and engineering to media and music of the 20th century.
Meet: at 15:00 in front of the Gröninger Brewery, Willy-Brandt-Straße 47.
Honoring St Thomas Becket
A special service of 'ninth hour' or None Prayers will said this Thursday 3 May at 19:30 in church. The service is in harmony with prayers conducted at Merton Priory, England where our patron Saint Thomas Becket was trained.
