Church Recording Meeting / Talk by Alk Friedrichsen our architect

The next Church Recording meeting will be held in church 28 April at 18:30 hrs. It will be followed by a talk by the church’s architect, Alk Friedrichsen, at 20:00 hrs. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the church’s architecture please feel free to come along.

Alk Friedrichsen, who was the architect in charge of the renovation of St Thomas Becket Church in 2013, will be giving a short talk following the Church Recording meeting on Thursday 28 April at 20:00, entitled
“The Englische Kirche at the Zeughausmarkt – a church building in Hamburg in the period of high classicism“
Everyone is welcome to come and listen and ask questions. This is a great opportunity to learn something of the history of the church building. The event is free of charge, we just like as many people as possible to come.
