Ash Wednesday – Holy Communion and Imposition of Ashes

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the “Forty days and forty nights”, a time of preparation for the celebration of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus. Throughout the seven weeks the Church walks with Christ through darkness into light.
