SUMMARY:Remembrance Sunday (and 180th Anniversary of the Church Building)
DESCRIPTION:This coming Sunday\, 11th November\, is not only Remembrance Sunday\, it is exactly 100 years since the end of the First World War\, and not only that\, it is most auspiciously exactly 180 years since the consecration of our church.\nTo mark this special day\, Father Leslie will be using the beautiful Communion silver that was presented to the church by Merchant Adventurers between 300 and 400 years ago. It is on permanent loan to the Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte\, but will be used during Holy Communion for this unique celebration\, linking the spiritual past with the present.
